f you enjoy designing, making and seeing your ideas come to life, 3D Printing Club is for you. You’ll learn how to create your own 3D designs and use our Bambu Lab 3D printer in a calm, friendly group.
What’s it like?
At 3D Printing Club, you’ll start by using Tinkercad, a simple and fun way to create 3D models. As your skills and confidence grow, you’ll have the opportunity to move on to Autodesk Fusion and explore more advanced design techniques.
You can follow a project, experiment with your own ideas or work alongside others. There’s no pressure to already know what you’re doing — we’ll guide you through each stage and help you learn at your own pace.
You can:
- Create your own 3D designs using Tinkercad
- Learn how a 3D printer turns a digital design into a real object
- Develop your skills and progress to Autodesk Fusion
- Experiment with shapes, ideas and different ways to solve problems
- Work on projects independently or alongside other young people
- See your designs come to life using our Bambu Lab 3D printer
Never tried 3D design or printing before? No worries — you can still join.
We’ll help you get started and you can learn as you go.
Why join?
Because it’s a relaxed, friendly place to be creative, try something different and develop new digital-making skills. You don’t have to be brilliant at drawing, computing or technology — just bring your ideas and a willingness to have a go.
How to join
Come to a free taster session first. If it feels like the right fit, you can then book the block of sessions. We’ll ask for a little information when you sign up so we know how best to support you.
Who is it for?
3D Printing Club is for young people aged 10–16 who enjoy making, designing, technology or trying out new ideas. It’s especially great if big groups or unfamiliar activities sometimes feel a bit tricky — this is a small, friendly club where you can take things at your own pace and be yourself.
You don’t need any previous experience.
You don’t need a diagnosis.
You’re welcome to come along exactly as you are.
