NDMe

A supportive small group workshop for parents and carers, combining the Do-IT Neurodiversity Profiler with guided reflection to help you better understand yourself.

ND Me

Understanding Yourself Together

Has learning more about your child’s neurodiverse traits (different strengths and challenges) made you curious about your own?

Many parents and carers tell us that learning more about their child’s neurodiversity has encouraged them to explore their own.

ND Me has been created for parents and carers who would like to better understand themselves.

By combining the Do-IT Neurodiversity Profiler with a small, supportive group workshop, ND Me provides an opportunity to explore how you think, learn and experience the world – and what that might mean for you in everyday life.

No formal diagnosis is required.

About ND Me

For many parents and carers, learning more about their child can spark questions about themselves.

You might recognise familiar traits, wonder why certain things have always felt easy or difficult, or simply be curious to understand yourself a little better.

Over the last few years, we’ve had many conversations with parents who have said things like:

“The more I learnt about my child, the more I started recognising myself.”

The Do-IT Neurodiversity Profiler provides personalised insight into how you think, learn and experience the world.

What we felt was missing was the opportunity to explore those insights with others, ask questions, reflect on what they might mean and consider practical ways to use them in everyday life.

That’s why we created ND Me.

ND Me isn’t a diagnostic assessment or therapy. It’s an opportunity to better understand yourself, reflect on your experiences and decide what feels right for you.

Who is ND Me for?

ND Me is for parents and carers who:

  • have a child or young person who is neurodivergent, or may be neurodivergent
  • are curious about their own neurodiversity
  • would like to better understand themselves
  • would value learning alongside others in a small, supportive group

You don’t need a formal diagnosis to take part.

What to expect

Your ND Me journey is simple.

Complete

Before the workshop, we’ll email you a secure link and login details for the Do-IT Neurodiversity Profiler.

Complete the profile at home before attending. It takes around 15–20 minutes, and you’ll receive your personalised profile immediately.

We recommend reading through your profile before the workshop and making a note of anything that stands out or surprises you.

Understand

During the workshop, we’ll help you make sense of your personalised profile, including your strengths and challenges.

Together we’ll explore:

  • the patterns and preferences highlighted in your profile
  • how these relate to your everyday experiences
  • practical ideas and strategies that may help
  • what you’ve learnt about yourself

Explore

Working alongside the ND Me team and a small group of other parents and carers, you’ll have the opportunity to reflect, ask questions and share ideas if you wish.

Before you leave, we’ll help you identify a few personal goals or next steps that feel right for you.

Everyone’s journey is different. For some people, understanding themselves better will be enough. Others may decide to try new strategies, make small changes or continue exploring their own neurodiversity.

As this is our first ND Me pilot, we’ll also invite you to share feedback about your experience. Your insights will help shape future ND Me opportunities, including follow-on workshops, peer support and other community-based support.
