LGBTQ+ Youth Project Coordinator

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced youth and/or community worker to join our growing Q Hub team and help create safe, welcoming spaces where LGBTQ+ young people can connect, build friendships and thrive.

This is a flexible zero-hours role that combines hands-on youth work with local project coordination. Working alongside our Q Hub Project Lead, you’ll take responsibility for coordinating delivery within an allocated area, planning and leading engaging youth groups, building relationships with young people and supporting volunteers and sessional staff.

Alongside delivering high-quality youth work, you’ll help grow participation by engaging with schools, community organisations and local partners, identifying opportunities to reach more young people and ensuring activities remain youth-led and responsive to local need.

You’ll also work collaboratively with the wider Q Hub team, supporting delivery across Buckinghamshire, Slough and East Berkshire where required and contributing to the continued development of both Q Hub and Brighter Futures Together.

This role would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership, building relationships and making a real difference within their local community. As our organisation grows, there will also be opportunities to contribute to wider Brighter Futures Together projects and develop your own skills and experience.
