About Coffee & Conversation

Across the Thames Valley there is a huge amount of valuable work taking place to support neurodivergent children, young people and families. However, there are relatively few opportunities for voluntary and community organisations to connect across county boundaries.

Hosted by Together As One, Parenting Special Children, Autism Early Support and Brighter Futures Together, Coffee & Conversation provides a relaxed online space to share ideas, build relationships and hear what’s happening across the region.

There are no presentations, formal agenda or minutes—just honest conversation and the opportunity to connect with others working in similar spaces.

Who is it for?

  • Voluntary and community organisations
  • Charities and CICs
  • Parent support organisations
  • Youth organisations
  • Community groups
  • Organisations supporting neurodivergent children, young people and families

  • Explore common challenges and opportunities
  • Build new relationships and partnerships
  • Take time to connect with others doing similar work

There is no expectation to present or contribute. You’re welcome to simply listen, ask questions or join the conversation in whatever way feels comfortable

FAQs

Is there a formal agenda?

No. The session is intentionally informal, allowing organisations to share updates, ask questions and discuss topics that are important to them.

Do I need to speak?

Not at all. Some people enjoy contributing throughout the conversation, while others prefer to listen. Both are equally welcome.

Is this a networking event?

It’s more than networking. While you’ll have the opportunity to meet others, the session is designed to encourage shared learning, collaboration and stronger connections across the voluntary and community sector

Will this become a regular network?

No. This session is intended as a one-off conversation rather than the start of another formal network or forum
