Brighter Futures Together awarded £15,000 at Angels' Den 2024

September 2024

We are delighted to announce that Brighter Futures Together has been awarded £15,000 at The Clare Foundation’s Angels’ Den 2024 event. This funding will support our Young Mental Health Champions (YMHC) project, enabling us to continue empowering young people to positively influence their own mental health and that of their peers.

Angels’ Den 2024, hosted at the Elgiva Theatre in Chesham, brought together ten finalist charities. Each presented an impactful project to a panel of five Angels, including renowned entrepreneur Peter Jones from Dragons’ Den. The Clare Foundation matched the angels’ contributions, creating a total funding pot of £100,000.

A highlight of our pitch was the involvement of Emily Chapman, one of our Youth Advisers and a Young Mental Health Champion. Emily’s firsthand experience and passion for mental health advocacy added a powerful perspective, resonating deeply with the Angels and audience alike.

We’re very grateful to The Clare Foundation, the Angels and all their supporters for this incredible opportunity. This award not only provides essential funding but also reaffirms our mission and the dedication of our team.
