Partnerships in Neurodiversity in Schools (PINS) Project

East Berkshire

Visit the PINS website

PINS is a national project funded by NHS England, in partnership with the Department for Education, Department of Health and Social Care, and the National Network of Parent Carer Forums.  The project focuses on strengthening relationships between schools and parents/carers and improving environments to better meet the needs of neurodiverse children.

In East Berkshire, PINS brings together Frimley Integrated Care Board (the NHS and partner organisations), the local authority, the local parent carer forum and, crucially, local schools and their communities (children and young people, their families and school staff) to work together to understand and improve support for neurodivergent children.

Twenty-eight primary schools took part in the project in year one, (FY 24-25) and 30 schools are signed up this year (FY 25-26).  For more information and resources, visit the PINS website
