Social Media Content Creator

About the role

We’re on the lookout for a creative, organised freelancer to help us shout about the brilliant things happening across our youth projects, training and community work.

This isn’t just about having a presence. It’s about building trust, visibility, and connection – with young people, families, professionals, and partners who share our commitment to inclusion, equity, and meaningful opportunities for young people.

You’ll be creating high-quality, visually strong content that shows the heart of what we do and helps us reach the right people on the right platforms – from young people and parents to professionals and funders.

You’ll work independently but won’t be on your own – we’re a friendly and supportive team, and you’ll get regular updates, quotes, and photos to turn into great posts. We’ll agree clear content goals, but how and when you work is flexible.

If you’re early in your creative career and looking to build your experience while doing something that matters, we’d love to hear from you.

This could be a great fit if…

  • You’ve created content for real projects, youth groups or campaigns (not just your own socials)
  • You’re confident using Canva (and maybe some Adobe tools too)
  • You enjoy turning a photo, story or quote into a post that feels warm, clear and on-brand
  • You’re happy working on your own, but like being part of a supportive team
  • You want to use your creativity for something that makes a differenc
  • You can switch up tone depending on the platform – visual on Instagram, chatty on Facebook, professional on Linked
  • You’re proactive and organised – ready to take the lead when things are quiet
