Our Team
Brighter Futures Together brings together experienced youth workers, facilitators, trainers and project leads with backgrounds across education, health and community development.
We believe in a strong skills mix. Our team combines professional qualifications, lived experience and specialist expertise, enabling us to respond thoughtfully and creatively to the needs of young people and partners.
Our delivery model includes core staff, sessional youth workers and specialist associates who support projects, training and consultancy. This flexible approach allows us to grow sustainably while maintaining high standards of practice.
All staff and volunteers working directly with young people are required to hold an Enhanced DBS check (including children’s barred list where appropriate). Where checks are in progress, appropriate supervision arrangements are in place in line with our safeguarding approach.
For more information about our safeguarding leadership and procedures, please see our Safeguarding page.
WE ARE BRAVE, CURIOUS AND INNOVATIVE AND TOGETHER WE ARE WORKING TO CREATE THE BRIGHTER FUTURE WE WANT TO SEE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE.
Meet the people helping to create brighter futures, together

Our values
Our work is based on opportunity, empathy and, crucially, hope. By exploring new and imaginative solutions we want to make a collective difference.
As advocates for young people, we are big on the following:
- Doing good together – everything we do is about networks and collaborations as we can’t do any of our work alone.
- Knowledge equity – we value many different forms of knowledge, experience and wisdom, including that of young people, care givers and advocates.
- Solution and action focused – we create or support projects that can overcome barriers to deliver urgently needed change.
